- Current state: Beautiful baroque alto in 415 Hz by Sebastian Meyer with a open voicing, balanced timbre and smooth tone. Vibrant low register and shiny, clear high register. It speaks well in all registers. I was playing it for about two years now so it is played in and could be revoiced soon to improve tuning and if wished change the voicing. The varnish could also be renewd (this doesn‘t influence the tone). It is an ideal instrument for both smaller settings and soloistic (with orchestra) playing. I am selling it because I discovered that I prefer smaller voicings. The original price was 3150 €.
