Baroque alto recorder by Von Huene after Denner

  • Model: Denner
  • Pitch: A = 415 Hz
  • Wood: Light stained boxwood
  • Built in: Approx. 1980
  • Ships from: Belgium
  • Price: 1300 SALE 1225 Euro (New: $2400)
  • Current state: The instrument is in a pristine condition. Well broken-in and regularly maintained by the owner. Although it was made in the 1980s, it was kept in a very nice collection until I acquired this instrument in 2017. Revoiced/retuned/thumbushed by Patrick Von Huene in 2018. This instrument has a narrower windway compared to the windway of Von Huene Denners that are being made these days. This exceptionally well-tuned instrument has a well-balanced sound between warm and brightness, therefore it is possible to explore the variety of colors of the sound-tone. Solid low register AND great responsiveness in the high register. I have used this instrument in many recitals and concerts, and I adore this instrument. However, I will be focusing on studying cembalo for next few years, so I wanted this instrument to have a new fantastic owner! Sound samples are available. Please contact me!
