- Current state: This instrument was bought in 2015, I don’t know when it was built. It has a number 5822, which might give a clue to when it was made. It’s used, very openly voiced. The mouthpiece and rings are made of ivory (!), and it’s probably loosely based on a Bressan recorder. Cork on the joints. It comes in a soft bag.
This is one of the instruments from an amateur recorder player and collector based in the UK. He passed away in 2023 with the wish that his cherished instruments will find a new loving home where they get played regularly and treated well. All his instruments have been very well looked after and played relatively little. The recorders are currently ‘residing’ in The Netherlands and can be shipped from there or from Germany. Payments will go directly to the collector’s family in the UK.
