- Current state: The instrument is in excellent status, made by German recorder maker Micha Silkenat in the year 2018. It has an extremely powerful sound, the timbre of the lower register is so rich and full, and the higher register also has a very characteristic color that I fall in love with because of it, I used it a lot for Italian and French repertoire, the unique, airy and rich warm sounds from this instrument just fits so well with those storytelling and elegant, ornamented music, it for sure has a very lovely and memorizing color and sound that I bet someone who wants a recorder like that this’s exactly what you’re looking for. At the moment I don’t use it as often, so I’d love to find a new owner for it, that will let it keep singing and shine on stage!
