Baroque Alto Recorder by David Coomber After Denner
- Model: Denner
- Pitch: A = 415 Hz
- Wood: Rosewood
- Built in: 2005
- Ships from: Australia
- Revoiced by: Nikolaj Ronimus (2014)
- Price: AU$3000 / €1800
- Current state: The instrument is in excellent playing condition. It has a very flexible airflow; I have used it for everything from trio sonatas to Vivaldi concerti with baroque strings, and have found that its round and warm but penetrant sound performs very well in both cases. The instrument was revoiced in 2014 by Nikolaj Ronimus, opening up the sound substantially. The faux ivory ring on the head joint was added by Anna May in 2015 to prevent cracking, but there have been no such issues since. I am selling because I am now focused on baroque oboe more than recorder, and rarely need an instrument of this calibre
