- Current state: Boxwood flute with 6 brass keys and ivory rings. Not signed, but the design corresponds to instruments made in the Dresden area around 1810–1820. Very good condition, no crack, beautiful oval embouchure. Just restored (cleaned, oiled, screw unstuck, pads and corck changed, keys ajusted). Pitch is luckily around 430 (pulling out 4mm), quite low for a German flute of this time. Excellent playing qualities, specially low and medium particularly rich, sonorous and vibrant. Remarkable fork fingerings: very well playable as a 1-keyed flute, as well as with the extra keys. Demo recording on demand.
