  • Current state: Von Huene Grenser Baroque Flute with both A=440 and A=415 bodies. This is a beautiful handcrafted baroque flute by Von Huene modeled after a Grenser instrument. The flute has seen very little use and remains in excellent playing condition. Includes both interchangeable bodies for modern pitch (440) and historical pitch (415), making it ideal for early music ensembles, historically informed performance, or players wanting flexibility between modern and period tuning. The instrument has a very small cosmetic dent that does not affect playability, response, tuning, or tone in any way. Otherwise the flute is in excellent condition. Original retail value was approximately $2,400 new. Warm, responsive tone with excellent craftsmanship throughout. I simply no longer play it enough to justify keeping it. Includes: Main flute; 440 body; 415 body; Case (custom from The Early Music Shop); Humidor box for stable moisture control during storage. The humidor has been used to help maintain appropriate humidity levels for the wood while stored, which has helped keep the instrument in excellent condition. Will also provide tuning stick, cleaning, and oiling supplies. Asking $2,000 USD, or best offer. Willing to ship internationally. Happy to answer questions or provide additional photos for serious buyers.
