Baroque Voice Flute by Thomas Prescott After Denner

  • Model: Denner
  • Pitch: In D at A = 415 Hz and C at A = 440 Hz (two bodies)
  • Wood: boxwood
  • Built in: 2001
  • Ships from: United Kingdom
  • Price: 3500 €
  • Current state: Made in 2001 but not played for the last four years. It has never had heavy use and is in excellent condition. Maintained by Tom twice, the last time in 2010. He has recently advised me that it is identical to instruments he would be making now, however he is in the process of retiring so these recorders are no longer available from him. In my opinion it is one of the best. Beautiful clear tone, fantastic intonation and simply stunning. Made from boxwood with exquisite detail. No wear to the thumbhole. Complete with carry case. Brand new, these will cost $3950 and if you bought it from the UK or EU, there’s 20% VAT to pay. This is now a very rare opportunity to buy a Prescott recorder.
