- Current state: The Soprano has < 4hrs playing in its life and is in mint condition. The Alto has < 40hrs play in its life and, part from very slight wear on the thumbhole, is also in mint condition. Fred made these instruments for me in 1976. They are in their original box, made by Fred, including the original cork grease container which still has most of it's contents... Each component of both instruments is stamped FGMOrgan 1976. It is fair to see that these are likely to be the closest to a new instrument by Fred that you could find anywhere.
Editor’s note: I’ve been informed by the seller that the recorders were sold for a considerably lower price than originally advertised. I find it useful to point it out here with a view to future sales of similar instruments.
