- Current state: A nice ‘basic’ bass in nearly new condition. Direct blow. Baroque fingering. Keys (all in fine fettle) on C, Bb, G/G# and F/F#… so accessible to play with smaller hands. Maple, hence not too quiet. From the 80s or 90s. Wants good breath control on lowest notes. Comes with a Moeck hard case (costs about 1/3 the price of this instrument new) and shoulder strap. Bought it for myself at an estate sale in Germany thinking I might prefer it to a bocal bass; I didn’t. Shipped anywhere tracked and insured at the best rate I (or you) can find. Near offers fine.
