Baroque Tenor Recorder by Thomas Prescott

  • Model: Denner
  • Pitch: A = 415 Hz + 440 Hz
  • Wood: boxwood
  • Built in: 2011
  • Ships from: Netherlands/Germany
  • Price: 2500 €
  • Current state: Tenor in c, 440 and 415hz, double holes, after Jacob Denner, European boxwood. Thumb rests on both middle joints, comes in a soft bag (Cavallaro). Open, strong sound, plays well over the entire range. Clean, well looked after.

This is one of the instruments from an amateur recorder player and collector based in the UK. He passed away in 2023 with the wish that his cherished instruments will find a new loving home where they get played regularly and treated well. All his instruments have been very well looked after and played relatively little. The recorders are currently ‘residing’ in The Netherlands and can be shipped from there or from Germany. Payments will go directly to the collector’s family in the UK.
