Moeck ebony alto recorder after Rottenburgh

  • Model: Rottenburgh
  • Pitch: A = 440 Hz
  • Wood: ebony
  • Built in: 1999
  • Ships from: United Kingdom
  • Price: £425 (new is around £725)
  • Current state: Excellent condition and a lovely sound. There is a very teeny tiny bit of wear in the thumbhole as would be expected. Cork was removed long ago and replaced with silk (and imitation silk ‘Sulky’) thread as was often used in the Baroque period. Easy to get a firm fit and reduces swollen cork issues. Have shown photos with loose ends so you can see that is thread, but last photo shows the thread with cork grease on it. Comes with Early Music Shop soft fleece-lined case (not original to the instrument, but much nicer than the Moeck box!)
