Alto Recorder by Martin Kehr for Peter Harlan

  • Model: Original design, no copy
  • Pitch: A = 440 Hz
  • Wood: dark rosewood?
  • Built in: 1950s, probably earlier
  • Ships from: Germany
  • Price: 150 €
  • Current state: Very dark rosewood?, single holes, English fingering, plays well up to g3, acceptable f#3! Original case (needs to be repaired). Stamped: PETER HARLAN MARKTNEUKIRCHEN (but made by Martin Kehr according to the design). Very good original condition, almost like new! Of course this is more an instrument for a collection. But with its original voicing may also be used for the original recorder music of its time. Easily playable, beautiful sound, intonation (fingering) is a little tricky but possible (if one wants to keep the original condition), but may also be retuned. Shipping costs extra.
