Ganassi-type soprano recorder by Andreas Schwob

  • Model: Ganassi-type
  • Pitch: A = 415 Hz
  • Wood: Prunus (plum tree)
  • Built in: 1995. Revoiced and completely revised by the maker in December 2018
  • Price: 1950 €
  • Current state: This wonderful instrument comes from an estate, it is in perfect condition, and has not been played since it has been with a collector for years. The condition in every detail of this recorder is remarkable. This recorder is a jewel with craftsmanship perfection, typical Renaissance sound, round and pure in all the registers. Fantastic articulation and response over more than two octaves, this instrument does not need so much air and plays easily also in the high register. The instrument is in absolutely perfect condition, recommended for a large repertoire before 1670 and also built with a perfect Ganassi tuning system.
