Baroque Alto Recorder by Dolmetsch (1933) After Bressan

  • Model: Bressan
  • Pitch: A = 415 Hz
  • Wood: Rosewood
  • Built in: 1933
  • Ships from: United Kingdom
  • Price: £900 ONO
  • Current state: This is a historic Baroque recorder, dating from the early 1930s according to the Dolmetsch website. It is model number 721. I have completed a self-declaration with gov.uk for the ivory component of the instrument (headjoint and rings). The instrument has been lightly used and is in excellent cosmetic condition. It has a sweet underlying tone with fantastic intonation across F4 to C6 with particularly agile higher notes. It would benefit from a service and revoicing to focus the tone. The instrument would be ideal for a collector or enthusiast, chamber musician or anyone wishing to play at Baroque pitch. Provided in soft bag and hard case (not original). Please make me an offer.
