The condition and cleanliness in every detail of this recorder are remarkable. In 1999, the recorder was delivered to Europe, the body was completed two years later by the Swiss recorder maker Heinz Ammann. A great connoisseur and admirer of Fred’s instruments, he has done a wonderful work down to the smallest detail. This recorder is a jewel and impresses with craftsmanship perfection, delicate, round and pure sound in all the registers. Perfect and extra easy response, easy to play, does not need so much air, also suitable for tasteful amateur players and connoisseurs of tasteful recorders. The instrument is in absolutely perfect condition, plays the German Baroque repertoire as its best, also an all-round recorder which is easy and enormously tasteful at the same time to play, listen and have.
