  • Current state: In perfect condition, excellent sound, bright and homogeneous, Hotteterre fingerings. Nice even in the details it looks like a wooden recorder and it is as heavy as a wooden one. Copy of the Bressan alto conserved at the Bate Collection in Oxford. There are many other Bressan altos in other museums, but this one, so-called “ex Hunt” after its previous owner, is considered by many to be the Stradivarius of recorders.
